Timetable
- 2 phases of Workshops (each goes over 3-4 units of ~3
hours)
- 2 days of Excursions (Stuttgart, The Svabian Alb,
probably Tübingen, Ulm)
- 2 afternoons with Sport Tournaments (1 Soccer, 1
Volleyball/Independent Frisbee)
- 1 day with Group Games for all participants
- In the evening: 1 Open-Air-Cinema, 1 Karaoke, 1
organized “Night of Fires” with Singing, Drums, Reading at differ-ent
corners of the Camp, 3-4 informative discussions (not fix yet: Growing
up in Europe, 60 years after NS-Regime)
Organization
- The camp is organized in “Villages” in which the different
groups organize their camp-life, cook and eat… The in-ternational
guests belong to the Village with the group they come with. The
preparation of the Meals is organized in these Villages.
- The sleeping tents have room for 7-10 persons. Each
village will have another tent for kitchen and eating (in case of Rain)
- On the Camp ground there are sanitary facilities for
boys/girls with toilets and showers
- 2 km from the Camp there is a little river (~50 cm depth)
in which it is possible to swim/bath/cool down
- There will be a Camp office in which it is possible to
organize some things, opened in the afternoon for the group leaders.
- In the morning there will be a meeting with the
Coordinators of each Village. On this way things can be cleared which
concern the whole camp or cannot be cleared in the Village.
Excursions
- There will be two days of Excursions. The programmes
are not totally fix yet but there will bet he possibility to visit
Stuttgart and probably Tübingen or Ulm and on the other day there
will be some tours over the Svabian Alb with a visit of a cave etc.
Workshops
- The programme of the Workshops is not fix yet but
there will be some creative Works, Theater, Video, Dance, perhaps First
Aid, Kayaking, perhaps Climbing, History…
- The procedure of getting in a workshop sounds a little bit
complicated but is fair. At the first morning there will be a
presentation of all Workshops to all participants. The workshop leader
will stand in a big circle and in the next step the participants go to
the workshop they want to go. If there are no more participants than
workshop-places for that workshop everything is okay and all of them
can participate. If there are more participants than workshop-places in
a workshop the participants get casted by lot (flip a coin or so). The
participants that didn’t get a workshop-place in this first round go to
another workshop in which there are free places. If in this second
round are more interested persons than places the lot-procedure will be
repeated but only between the participants in the 2nd. round. And so on…
